3 May 2019 Gornik Zabrze 1 Wisla Krakow 2 Polish Premier

Emmanuel Kumah (Ghana) - late substitute for Wisla, nineteen-year-old attacking midfielder, showed good intent and some left foot skills in the short time he was on the field.

The visitors from Krakow consolidated their position at the top of the 'relegation section' of the Polish top division with this win on a chilly night in Zabrze.

After 30 minutes in which the home side edged the possession but Wisla had the main threats the away side would go ahead from a penalty.

Which was converted by Croatian striker Marko Kolar.

But it was no long before Gornik, backed by a vociferous home crowd, would level when one of their Spaniards, Jesus Jimenez, was allowed an easy finish at the far post.

As the somewhat unseasonal cold increased Wisla returned after the interval for Kolar again to put them up front on 51 minutes

This time the home side couldn't find a response and Wisla were able to, reasonably comfortably, limited their chances while keeping their own options open for a breakaway goal.
