6 April 2019 Foggia 1 Spezia 0 Serie B

Emmanuel Gyasi (Ghana) - right midfield for Spezia, solid, made various runs in the first half without involvement, moved inside for more play, booked for foul, also tracked back, more touches in the second period, subbed on 75.

David Okereke (Nigeria) - tall Spezia striker, early touches, tried combinations with da Cruz, control looked ok, showed some pace, moved to wing later on but overall limited.

A typically cagey opening half with few opportunities for either side.

Foggia produced what shots there were.

Da Cruz offered the likely threats from the visitors but they generally found it hard to create chances.

Though one second-half free-kick nearly resulted in an away goal only for home goalie Leali to nudge the ball over the bar.

Foggia certainly edged the threats and they finally broke through, late on, when substitute striker Iemmello was at the far post to convert an excellent cross.

The vibrant home crowd celebrated in style.

It was a valuable three points for the home side in their battle against demotion.
