11 May 2019 Extremadura 0 Real Zaragoza 3 Segunda

James Igbekeme (Nigeria) - 23-year-old, Zaragoza stocky midfielder, rated £630k in the transfer market, left foot emphasis, one or two misplaced passes early on, moved further forward changing with Javi Ros, his interception led to the first goal, solid in the second half, injured late on and was replaced.

Jannick Buyla (Equatorial Guinea) - young midfielder, a late replacement for Igbekeme, solid build, right footed.

This was a lively encounter in the Almendralejo sunshine.

The visitors edged the first half and went ahead on 18 minutes when a cross from the right was deflected and unluckily went in off Casto in the home goal.

Zaragoza created a number of other chances but failed to convert them.

While the home team had a few threats of their own but were generally second best overall.

Though they did begin the second period by pushing the visitors back.

However just after the hour a run and shot by Pep Biel extinguished that momentum.

Zaragoza would add a fine third when substitute Pombo turned and drove into the area to shoot past Casto.

From then on there was only one winner.

That took Zaragoza above their opponents in the Segunda Division table but still only in a lowly 14th position.
