This Champions League group game produced an entertaining encounter in chilly Riyadh.
Including another goal from Moroccan striker Abderazak Hamdallah and a stunning equaliser from Nassr's defender Al-Obaid.
The game began with Alshehri setting up the prolific Hamdallah for a neat finish on seven minutes.
But within a couple of minutes the teams were level when a home defender diverted in a cross with Algerian Bounedjah on hand.
In a lively first period, the Moroccan duo of Amrabat and Hamdallah were often prominent in attack while Bounedjah was more isolated up front for the Qatari team.
Though as the half wore on Spanish midfielder Gabi had more of an influence for the visitors.
And it was Al-Sadd, who featured in the recent FIFA Club World Cup, who would go ahead soon after the interval.
When Hassan Al Heidos broke into the area and forced the ball past goalie Brad Jones.
However, the local side produced a stunning equaliser as defender Al-Obaid launched a left-footer into the top of the net on 53 minutes.
That ended the scoring though Al-Nassr generally had more control in the second period.
So this initial group match encounter between a Portuguese home coach, Rui Vitoria, and a visiting Spanish manager (Xavi) would end all-square.
